The founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Sturbridge Capital, Salam Chaudhary has over 20 years of private equity experience, including leveraged buyouts, secondary private equity, and venture capital. Salam heads the Investment Committee and is responsible for sourcing, monitoring, and execution. Prior to founding Sturbridge, Salam was a principal at Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based middle-market private equity firm with $2.5 billion of assets under management. During his 13 years at Wind Point, Salam focused on middle-market leveraged buyout transactions in the consumer and health care industries. Salam completed 13 acquisitions with total enterprise value of more than $800 million, including several public to private transactions, bankruptcies, corporate spin-offs and foreign transactions. Salam’s experience also includes serving as an investment banking analyst at First of Michigan, Detroit. He began his investment career in his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, as an analyst at Health Care REIT and an intern at Northwest Ohio Venture Fund. Salam graduated Cum Laude with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the College of William & Mary.
